Applications: Designed for primary protection and control of distribution feeders on solidly grounded, high impedance grounded, or resonant grounded systems. Additionally, it can be utilized for management and backup protection of buses, transformers, and power lines.
Protection and Control: Offers comprehensive overcurrent protection, including phase, neutral, ground, sensitive ground, and negative sequence protection for both time and instantaneous overcurrent, along with directional control. Includes functions for overvoltage, undervoltage, and underfrequency, each with two independent stages.
Control Functions: Programmable setpoints and 4 assignable output relays enable the addition of control functions tailored to specific applications, such as basic alarm on over/under current or voltage, unbalance, demand-based load shedding, and capacitor power factor correction control.
Monitoring and Metering: Provides accurate measurement of voltage, current, frequency, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor, watt-hour, var-hour, VA-hour, and phasor presentation of voltage and current. Also includes features for watthour cost, synchro voltage, percent of load to trip, analog input, running and maximum demand for current, active power, reactive power, and apparent power.
Communications: Equipped with a front RS232 serial port and two rear RS485/RS422 ports. A rear Ethernet port is available as an optional feature.
Software: Supported by industry-leading software.
