The Woodward 5466-355 is a Remote Chassis Transceiver designed specifically for CPU 68040 systems. It facilitates the exchange of control, data, and address information between the Main XCVR module and Remote I/O Chassis via cable. The module must be installed in each Remote I/O Chassis wired to the Main Chassis. It employs a parallel interface utilizing high-speed differential line drivers that seamlessly operate at the VME transmission rate.
